So What? She's Still A Rockstar...
Brenna rocking out on Riley's guitar. I love how her legs are in the second picture - it's one of her many poses. She's getting SO big. We've started discussing her first birthday party! (A big BBQ at our house mid-July) She's outgrown almost all of her pajamas and it makes me sad that she can no longer wear Gerber Sleep and Plays - my favorite thing to put on her! She's very mobile, so smart, pulling herself up on things regularly, will eat just about anything and hates wearing socks (just like her momma!).

New Shoes
Riley had to get some new shoes because his feet grow at the speed of light. (He wears a size 10 now!) He was so excited to see that mommy found him some Thomas shoes and has worn them prett much all the time since I brought them home. (He especially likes rocking the no pants, no socks, white shoes look.)

Yep - you really CAN drive a free car!
Sarell and her family picking up her 2010 Pontiac G6 that was made SPECIFICALLY for her! She will pay nothing for this car...tags, insurance, everything is paid for by MK!
My directors SWEET pink Cadillac! One of only two in our area...for now! ;-)This year is the last year Mary Kay will be giving Pontiacs as their career cars (there are three levels - right now Pontiac is the first car you earn). Who knows what it will be next year?? The plan is to have my G6 by October 31st - my one year anniversary with Mary Kay. Then on to the next car!
Try it, You Might Like It

Not as cheap ($5.75 regular price, I paid $3.50) and not as healthy (7* points per serving) but it was also GOOD! The crust was yummy, chicken actually tasted like chicken, and spinach flavor was very light. I tricked Riley into eating it and he liked it as well! Bonus! Monday, May 11, 2009
Menu Plan Monday

This week we will be having...
Monday - Santa Fe Turkey Burgers (We actually didn't have this last week as planned) I buy these burgers at Martin's. They are pretty inexpensive and YUMMY. We eat them on whole wheat pitas with a little lite mayo (spicy mustard for me please!) and tomato. We normally don't have a side dish with them.
Tuesday - BBQ Chicken and Veggies - Chicken breasts cooked on the grill with the AWESOME Boss Hogg BBQ Seasoning Salt. Locally made in Warsaw! We get ours at Wal-Mart. You can get yours here.
Wednesday - Crock Pot Chicken - chicken breasts thrown in the crock pot with chicken broth, carrots, potatoes, celery...a chicken 'pot roast' of sorts.
Thursday - Leftovers
Friday - Homemade Pizzas
Saturday - Chicken Lo Mein
Also! On Kraftfoods.com, you can download $50 worth of coupons - including one for $1.00 two packages of Oscar Meyer hotdogs! Combine that with the Meijer coupon I linked before and you'll get two packages of hot dogs for $0.50! Pretty sweet!

Bargains of the week
Right now I'm focusing on Meijer. Even though they have TERRIBLE customer service, if you go early enough in the week they aren't busy and they still have the sale items in stock. (Go later in the week and you will find bare shelves...but I digress...) Here's what I've found so far...
DiGiorno Pizza on sale for $3.33
$1.25 off Manufacturer's Coupon here.
$1.00 Meijer Coupon here.
Final Price - $1.08! (the coupons are specifically for Thin and Crispy Crust - which is perfect for us!)
Oscar Meyer HotDogs on sale for $1.25
$1.00 off 2 Coupon here.
Final price - $0.75! (Freeze for those Memorial Day Cookouts!)
More to come!

Lunches will be leftovers. Breakfasts will be the usual - cereals, toaster strudel, etc.
Big day of errands planned for the kiddos and I. Grocery Shopping, bank, and the library. We are lucky enough to have access to a beautiful, very kid friendly library. However - I'm getting frustrated because they never have the books that I want to read! Their adult section leaves a lot to be desired...guess I'll be reading Twilight for the fourth time! *Note to Micah B. - the more I read it, the more Edward grows on me...can I be Team Jacward? ;-)*
