| The resemblence is uncanny. |
I have a huge forehead (or fivehead as my sister used to call it) so we just assumed that she took after me. This is also can be a physical trait of someone with hydrocephalus, so in the back of our minds, we knew it could be because of that.
Today at her well baby checkup, we got a bit of a shock. A "normal" baby's head grows approximately 1/2 an inch per month. Gracie's appears to have grown nearly 9 times faster - a total of 9 inches in two months. She's acting like her normal, happy self and not showing any signs of shunt malfunction, but we have a call in to our neurosurgeon and he is reviewing the measurements.
This could be a strange growth spurt (she only grew one inch lengthwise and gained four pounds), but it could also be much more. She's been such a miracle so far, I can't bear the thought of difficulties now.
Would you please pray for our little Megamind? I'll post as soon as I know more.

Bethany...don't forget to update your blog...the nurse wrote the wrong measurement down for Gracie's head...she wrote her length down by mistake. So Gracie's head actually only grew 2 inches in 2 months - which is still a little more then it should be, so the neurologist scheduled an MRI at her next appt. (4-12)
